Sometimes it’s actually the strongest defense that we can muster. I’m so sorry you have been going through all of this. I have been dealing with post-concussion syndrome and I have experienced so much frustration at my brain/body through my rocky recovery. What you wrote resonates, and I needed these words today. Trying to remember, as you said, that my body is my friend, and working on acceptance. Wishing you healing, and hoping this treatment is the ticket for you.

I put together a playlist of songs that have lifted my spirits recently that I’m hoping to post soon if I have a few more well-functioning days. As for Avery, I had no idea she was that young. She has a certain "seasoned" sound to her based on the one song I've heard that I guess I'm going to have to check out more because now I'm really curious. Glad you have her music to get you through these times!

I’m glad that you wrote about this and told us what was going on even though it may have been challenging! Letting go like that can be cathartic.
