Started journaling consistently almost ten years ago. The practice has evolved into creative and business journaling, which supported my journey to build again as an entrepreneur and founder, this year. Canโ€™t wait for this meetup! ๐Ÿ’œ

Someone told me once that the best way to establish and reach goals is to look ahead to an age when you think you might pass away. (Stay with me on this!) Then work backwards and determine what you want to accomplish by various ages before that (such as recording an album, going on tour, traveling, buying a house, etc.) A journal could be used to explore these future life goals. It's worked for me in the past 20 years! I'm amazed that I have exceeded many of those goals.

What a concept! I guess the big question: how long do you think youโ€™ll live? Another 50 years? That could be a daunting task! So glad it worked for you and thx for sharing. This could be a good success story to bring up at the meetup!

Yeah, it's interesting to consider our death date - especially as we get closer and closer to it. I think I first did this when I was in my 40s and thought I'd live until my mid-80s. Now that I'm 61 that seems WAY too close!

Iโ€™m 55 and feel the same way!! Which is why Iโ€™m now going for a run. ๐Ÿ˜„

I swear by journaling for my mental health. I no longer perform live but I think this idea that a performer can journal their way to better shows is spot on. So many good reasons to do this!

Thanks for reading. Would love to see you at the event. And why are you no longer performing?

Iโ€™m writing books now and canโ€™t really fit both in. Iโ€™ve got two kids at home still. It will come back, Iโ€™m sure. Every now and then people ask me to do things and I do dance the can-can at Madam

Lou Bunch Day in Central City most years. She is the madam that inspired my book I am shopping now. I have a class during your event but Iโ€™ll keep an eye on future meetings.

Wow! That all sounds so exciting. Iโ€™m sure youโ€™ll get that story publishedโ€” I look forward to reading it. And as a mom, I know there are so many hours a day. The journaling method weโ€™ll talk about really helped me prioritize and focus. I felt like I had so much going on but wasnโ€™t getting satisfaction or joy out of it.

This is heavenly. Unfortunately, my musical talents are nonexistent. ๐Ÿ˜•

You are a creative!! This applies to you for sure. And the bonus journaling for performance can apply to public speaking or readings!
