Video: Women in Music Have Something to Say
Challenging barriers and stereotypes that hold us back
Yesterday may have been International Women’s Day (a month-long celebration), but we proudly promote gender equity and diversity every day at Herizon Music.
The video below was produced in 2021 for IWD and a fundraising campaign, and it’s so damn good that I updated it and re-released it.
Herizon Music’s newsletter and podcast launched in 2019 on a value-based mission to uplift women in music through education, experience, and community. Our values:
Music unites
Uplifting others brings joy
Sharing stories incites change
Investing in women is wise
Collaboration beats competition
Our community has grown strong thanks to these shared values. Your participation is crucial to achieving gender equity and merit-based success in music. Thank you for spreading the word and supporting women in music.
A big shoutout to these leading ladies for speaking out on behalf of all women in music (alphabetical):

We serve women who work on stage, on air, and behind the scenes in music. A new program called Herizon Music Makers is launching this spring with career development advice, resources, and special offers. If you’re an artist who would like access, we have music fans ready to sponsor you for a 12-month subscription ($72 value).
Sign up now and we’ll match you with a sponsor and send launch announcements.
Reports from SXSW will be coming all week, so hold onto your cowboy hats!
